Wilcox Associates has introduced a new plug & play retrofit package for all standard, PC-based OGP Measurement Systems. These systems include the popular Smartscope, Flash and Avant models.  The newly released retrofit package features PC-DMIS Vision, a CAD-based vision metrology software. The upgrade is a simple matter of changing cables and does not require any substantial modifications to the system controller.  This is in sharp contrast to competing solutions that often require either changes to the controller's electronics or complete controller replacement.  Its fast, its inexpensive and it's effective. Once completed users have full access to all of PC-DMIS Vision's sophisticated features and functions.
